En un mundo de artistas fabricados, este cantautor de raíces latinas, corazón sensible y experimentado talento, es capaz de dejar un sello propio en cada una de sus obras. Incluso en los videos, como lo demuestra en “Llorar lloviendo”, su nuevo sencillo.
El tema es el primer sencillo de “Love is Back”, su nuevo disco que es más personal que el anterior, porque ha trabajado codo a codo con su productor musical Eddie Pérez. “Eso lo ha hecho diferente, con más cuerpo y una personalidad bien definida”, explica el artista.
El tema, que tiene una base rítmica urbana y el sonido fuerte de la bachata, mueve a la nostalgia y el amor. Así como las imágenes del vídeo, que tiene un interesante concepto cinematográfico, grabado en el estudio de Cinemagic International Studio de Nueva York, donde las paredes sirven de pantallas cambiando de escenarios y Toby, sentado al piano, relata la historia en medio de la lluvia.
“Love is Back” nos muestra a Toby Love apasionado, ambicioso y visionario. Marcando con su propio pulso el ritmo de la música urbana con sabor latino.

Miami, FL, May 20, 2008.- Toby Love is ready to fall in love. In a world full of fabricated artists, this singer / songwriter, with his latino roots, sensitive heart and tried and true talent is plainly capable of putting a unique signature on each of the songs he writes. The same is true for his videos, something he clearly demonstrates on the new clip now in production for the single “Llorar Lloviendo”.
This is the first song to be spun off of “Love is Back”, Toby Love’s new album.
Because the artist worked side by side with his music producer Eddie Pérez, “Love is Back” is much more personal than Love’s previous effort. “This has made this project different. The music has more body and the production itself a well defined personality,” he explains.
Swinging and swaying to nostalgia and love, “Llorar Lloviendo” is a song that combines an urban rhythm base with strong bachata sounds. The accompanying video (currently under production at the Cinemagic International Studios in New York) puts an interesting cinematographic concept into play. In it, walls serve as screens on which scenes change while Toby, seated at the piano, tells the story under a falling rain.
