Hello everyone! Welcome to my Official LatinoSpace! Im a USAF veteran and freelance model here in the Northwest. I been modeling since 2003. Im a shy, reserved, quiet kind of person who loves to laugh and have fun. Im Puerto Rican with freckles on my cheeks. I live in Washington state but am from Patillas, PR. I've attended many import shows and model events here in the 206/253 area and hope to attend more in the future. I love to make scrapbooks, travel, whatevers fun. Im a person living with Transverse Myelitis. I've had it since May 2005 and was retired from the military because of it. Transverse myelitis (TM) is a neurologic syndrome caused by inflammation of the spinal cord. I went paralyzed for 2 weeks back in May 2005 out of the blue. The doctor's still don't know how or why it happened. TM is uncommon but not rare. Recovery may be absent, partial or complete and generally begins within 1 to 3 months. Significant recovery is unlikely, if no improvement occurs by 3 months. Transverse myelitis may occur in isolation or in the setting of another illness. When it occurs without apparent underlying cause, it is referred to as idiopathic. Idiopathic transverse myelitis is assumed to be a result of abnormal activation of the immune system against the spinal cord. TM is generally a monophasic illness (one-time occurrence); however, a small percentage of patients may suffer a recurrence. There is no cure for Transverse Myelitis.
