Miami, FL, July 29th, 2008.- This is not another ordinary year in Franco De Vita’s career. The talented Venezuelan singer-songwriter is celebrating 25 years in the music business. This record won’t be just another album either. “Simplemente la Verdad” is one of the most important musical projects of De Vita’s career.
Franco De Vita’s fans will have to wait until September 23rd to be the first ones to get their hands on their idol’s latest recording effort. They won’t have to wait that long, however, for a preview, because beginning today, radio stations will start playing the first new single, “Mi sueño” (My Dream).
“And you, (my) life / in each kiss you give me life / and you, my strength / to help me understand the world in which I live a little better / a time to feel safe and secure / a time when I can dream”, say the song lyrics that end with a phrase that reflects the pure, simple and sincere style of this music: “Maybe I’m the happiest man on this planet”.
After “Mil y una historias en vivo” (A Thousand & One Stories, Live, 2006) Franco de Vita went back into the studio this year to extend his musical legacy. The album was recorded in Spain, Argentina and Miami, but the album’s message speaks of moments De Vita has experienced with his audiences around the world. This is this singer / songwriter’s first album in four years.
“Mi sueño” is already available on iTunes and as a ringtone. “Simplemente la verdad” is another Sony BMG Latin Release.
